Mushroom Manchurian with gravy

Most of us love to dig in into some Chinese dish more often.
I always love mushroom’s so thought why not create something unique with mushroom’s as a star ingredient.
So I prepared Mushroom Manchurian with gravy and with loads of veggies.
Don’t wait if you have got some mushroom’s in your fridge. Do try this dish.
I bet if you are a mushroom lover then you are going to love this dish.
Presenting my purely experimental dish – Mushroom Manchurian with gravy

For the mushroom Balls
Mushrooms – 200 grams , chopped finely (Clean and wipe dry with kitchen towel using soft hand’s or in a bown take the mushroom’s , add a little maida and a little water then rub the slurry on the mushroom’s and clean under a running water then wipe with kitchen towel)
1 medium onion , chopped finely
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp black pepper powder ( freshly crushed)
Salt and to taste
Oil for deep-frying
For The Sauce
One Onion, chopped in large square pieces
¼ th cup Capsicum , chopped in large square pieces
4” of English Cucumber , sliced thinly
4” of Carrot, sliced thinly
¼ th cup carrot and capsicum , chopped finely
1 tbsp Garlic , finely chopped
1 tsp finely chopped Green Chillies
2 tsp finely chopped Ginger
1 cup Vegetable stock or water
1 tsp Soya sauce
1 tsp Tomato sauce
1 tsp Red Chilli sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
1 pinch ajinomoto (optional)
1 tbsp Cornflour mixed with 1 cup of water
2 pinches of Sugar
1 tsp Black pepper powder, freshly crushed
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste

For the Mushroom balls
Combine the mushrooms, onions, garlic, cornflour, green chilli, salt and black pepper powder in a bowl and mix well so that the moisture from mushroom helps to bind the mixture.
Use your hands to mix all.
Shape spoonfuls of the mixture into small balls using your hand.
Deep fry a few balls at a time in hot oil until golden brown.
Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.
For the sauce
Heat the oil in a kadhai on a high flame.
Add the garlic, green chillies and ginger and stir fry over a high flame for a few seconds.
Then add all the vegetables ( Onion, capsicum, english cucumber and carrot)
Add the stock, soya sauce, tomato sauce, red chilli sauce, vinegar, cornflour paste, ajinomoto,black pepper powder, sugar and salt and simmer for a few minutes.
At the time of serving, put the vegetable balls in the sauce and bring to a boil.
Serve hot.
Enjoy with hot noodles or fried rice.
