After a hectic weekdays at work, one always look forward to spend some quality time with their loved one’s in a relaxing weekend gateway. I want to share my experience of such exotic place which is within the Bengaluru city itself & still waiting to be explored by the localites & the tourists.
I accepted the invitation to go for the Lavish Brunch at Limelight, Royal Orchid Hotel, HAL,Old Airport road, Bengaluru.
The interiors at the Hotel looks elegant & the Staff’s are helping enough to guide us to the Limelight where the Great Brunch happens every Sunday from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
After settling at our chosen table, we decided to take a quick tour of the massive set up of the Brunch. One have the option of choosing from the outdoor seating overlooking the lush lawns & the shikari tents or sit inside the newly done up outlet overlooking the open pizza oven. My daughter preferred to play in the open garden & spend time learning some art & craft with the appointed craft teacher,so that the children accompanying their parents have engaging time throughout the Brunch.
We have a mini brain storming session while trying to figure out the course of our food-orgasm session.
We settled for few refreshing Frozen Mocktails & not so potent Cocktail.
We were glad that we have skipped the breakfast before heading for the Brunch. The late Saturday nights are the enough reason for the late breakfast cum Lunch session aptly called as BRUNCH.
We requested the server to serve us each dish from the live counters.
So we tasted small portions of everything to make sure we didn’t miss out on anything.
Wood fired Pizza ( We managed to finish one 6″ thin crust pizza with three cheese toppings. The choice of toppings are endless & they have a Kids Corner too to request for their favourite toppings on any pizza)
Chaat thela – pani puri, Papadi, Aloo tikka ( Yes I am guilty of finishing the mouthwatering Chats at one go even if I have decided not to go overboard with these)
Mongolian Rice and Noodles
Dim Sum ( We tried the veg & non- veg dumplings)
Hara Bhara Tikka
If you want to go for redemption for all these Binge eatings then don’t think twice to grab a plate & take multiple helpings of the healthy Salads & munch on them till you are ready for the main course. Do take a stroll around to feel lighter on stomach.

Our entire Brunch became extraordinary when Executive Chef Rana Gomes decided to surprise us with the Nitro infused Sundae Crepe which looked & tasted sensessional. Soft crepes are filled with chunks of dryfruits, served with toppings like cake pops, jujubes, marshmallow, gems & Icecream & drizzled with chocolate syrup. The smoke effect due to Nitro managed to create the drama & it was the showstopper creation by the Chef.
The whole experience is magical for me & we had an amazing afternoon which makes us feel like Royal. The all White seating area looked pristine & a treat to the eye’s.
While leaving the place, I chanced to see the board mentioning about the ongoing #RoyalSelfie contest. The participants needs to take a selfie with any of the staffs of Royal Orchid Hotel & put up the selfie at all the Social Media handles of the Hotel & stand a chance to win 2 Nights & 3 Days Stay #freevacation at Royal Orchid Brindavan Garden Palace & Spa, Mysore.
I took a selfie with the Chef Rana Gomes & participated in the Facebook contest. My happiness was doubled after finding out that I was declared the winner & won the #freevacation.
